Nephrology

Nephrology deals with kidney health. It is very rare for kidney failure to be an isolated condition. In most cases, a decline in kidney function is a secondary symptom associated with other diseases that have a negative impact on the kidneys.

These causes often include common conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or high blood lipid levels. If a decline in kidney function is observed, it is important to systematically investigate whether any of these conditions might be present.

Note: Nephrology is a private medical service and is intended for patients who pay out of pocket.
